Elizabeth strives to develop a plan with her patients and their support system to improve their quality of life when living with chronic pain. Without using the team approach, she feels compassionate care cannot be adequate. Elizabeth has a strong passion for education and feels all patients and their support systems should be fully educated on their disease process, medications and treatment options available.
Elizabeth serves as faculty at her alma mater, Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University, where she enjoys sharing her passion for nursing and continuing education with undergraduate nursing students.
When she is not caring for her patients, Elizabeth enjoys watching college sports with her husband and son.
