Millennium Pain Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. John Broadnax to our Libertyville office on September 5, 2011!
Dr. Broadnax is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his anesthesiology residency and pain fellowship at the Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, and is board certified in both Anesthesia and Pain Management. Dr. Broadnax has received in-depth training in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of complex pain disorders. He also has experience with advanced minimally invasive pain management therapies including spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation as well as ultrasound-guided procedures.
His philosophical approach to pain management allows Dr. Broadnax to construct a unique multidisciplinary treatment plan for each patient that combines interventional procedures, physical therapy, behavioral medicine, and adjunctive medication management. This philosophy, in concert with a compassionate and highly positive approach to patient care, allows him to partner with clinical staff and patients to optimize function, minimize pain, and maximize quality of life. The final product is an unrivaled standard of care for patients with chronic pain.
Dr. Broadnax’s professional interests lay in the management and treatment of chronic pain disorders through minimally invasive techniques, implantable devices, and medication management. He is currently involved in research activities with Millennium Pain Center. He is an active member in a number of professional societies including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the North American Neuromodulation Society.
