Millennium Pain Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Avni Gupta to our Peoria location.
Dr. Gupta recently completed her Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. During her fellowship, she trained in most advanced technologies with the leaders in the field of Pain Management. She is board certified in Anesthesiology and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was elected as the Chief resident and was awarded “Outstanding Graduating Resident Award that Best Exemplifies the field of Anesthesia” in 2012. She completed her medical school in the top 10 percent of her class at one of most esteemed medical schools (Maulana Azad Medical College) in India at University of Delhi.
Dr. Gupta has a special interest in treating cervical and lumbar pain, sciatica, arthritis, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), spinal stenosis and pain after spine surgery. She also has expertise in treating neuropathic pain, peripheral neuralgias, cancer pain, atypical facial pain, headache and pelvic pain. She offers a variety of treatment options to help eliminate the pain intractable to previous therapies including epidurals, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation and other minimally invasive spine surgeries.
